Detail Specialist
About The Position
The Detail Specialist cleans and details U-Haul trucks and trailers to keep the fleet in top condition for customers. The role works in a detailing bay and production line, using U-Haul’s proprietary technology and industry-standard safety equipment. Team members may also assist in additional areas as directed by their supervisor. This position offers on-the-job training and opportunities to grow into other roles at U-Haul. Team members can participate in a Technician Training Program that includes classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. U-Haul provides the tools needed for the job and support from experienced team members.
Requirements
- Driver’s license.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Regular attendance.
Responsibilities
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Remove decals from damaged equipment leaving the fleet and prepare the equipment for sale.
- Use industry-standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production line.
- Provide assistance in additional areas as needed, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
