Detail Specialist
About The Position
U-Haul is hiring a Detail Specialist to clean and detail its truck and trailer fleet, helping keep equipment in top condition for customers. The position works in a detailing bay and production line, using U-Haul’s proprietary technology and industry-standard safety equipment. U-Haul provides tools for the work and on-the-job learning, with opportunities to grow into other company positions and participate in its Technician Training Program, including Ford, GMC, and U-Haul classes. The posting lists a $15.92 to $18.00 hourly compensation range and a $100 hiring bonus. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
- Regular attendance.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
- Remove decals from damaged equipment leaving the fleet and prepare that equipment for sale.
- Use industry-standard safety equipment.
- Work in a production line.
- Provide assistance in additional areas as needed, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
