About The Position
Closets by Design is hiring an in-home sales Designer to create designs for closets, home offices, pantries, laundry rooms, media centers, and garages. Designers complete five days of classroom-style training in design, drafting, and successful in-home selling before beginning customer appointments. The role starts with a guaranteed compensation plan for up to six months while the Designer builds product knowledge, completes training, and develops a customer pipeline. Guaranteed pay is subject to meeting performance expectations and employment requirements. After the guaranteed-pay period, compensation transitions to commission based on individual sales performance, with uncapped commission potential for high performers. The posting lists training pay of $3,300 per month for a three-to-six-month training period, typical commission-based earnings of $4,000 per month after the first three months, and typical earnings of $5,000 to $7,000 per month after the first year. Above-average Designers may earn $80,000 to $120,000 per year. Flexible work-from-home options are available. Training is in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the posting seeks Designers in Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Sarasota.
