About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring an in-home sales Designer to create designs for closets, home offices, pantries, laundry rooms, media centers, and garages. The role begins with five days of intensive classroom-style training in design, drafting, and successful in-home selling, followed immediately by customer appointments. Designers start on a guaranteed compensation plan for up to six months while building product knowledge, completing training, and developing a customer pipeline. Guaranteed pay is subject to meeting performance expectations and employment requirements. After the guaranteed-pay period, compensation transitions to commissions based on individual sales performance, with uncapped commissions available to high-performing Designers. The stated pay examples are $3,300 per month during the three-to-six-month training period; typically $4,000 per month on commission after the first three months; typically $5,000 to $7,000 per month on commission after the first year; and $80,000 to $120,000 per year for above-average Designers. Flexible work-from-home options are available. Training requires commuting to St. Petersburg, Florida.
