About The Position

This is a lead dentist role, Managing Clinical Director, at an independently owned and operated Aspen Dental-branded practice. The practice receives non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc. The dentist provides exceptional patient care while leading a patient-centric clinical team and maintaining high standards of dental ethics and professionalism. The role includes examining and diagnosing patients, discussing treatment options and plans, and providing high-quality clinical treatments. The dentist also mentors and coaches new dentists and other dental professionals, collaborates with the Operations team on financial objectives, keeps current through continuing education, and represents Aspen Dental-branded practices in the community. Administrative and business support is available for areas including finance, IT, marketing, billing, HR, call center, and learning and development. The position is full-time, with flexible scheduling. The listed annual salary range is $230,000–$300,000. Location-specific offers include a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $7,500 relocation stipend; offers may vary by independently owned and operated location.

Requirements

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

Lead a patient-centric team that respects the dentist’s clinical judgment and leadership.
Ensure excellent quality of care for all patients while adhering to high standards of dental practice ethics and professionalism.
Conduct comprehensive full-mouth exams and diagnose dental conditions.
Offer treatment-planning options and discuss them with patients.
Provide high-quality clinical treatments with excellence and efficiency.
Maintain awareness of the budget and work with the Operations team to attain financial objectives.
Mentor and coach new dentists and the dental professional team.
Keep abreast of developments in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Network with professional groups, dental associations, and dental societies to represent Aspen Dental-branded practices in the greater community.
