About The Position

This is a lead dentist role serving as Managing Clinical Director at an Aspen Dental-branded practice. The dentist leads a patient-centric clinical team and provides exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of dental ethics and professionalism. The role includes examining and diagnosing patients, discussing treatment plans, delivering clinical treatments, mentoring dental professionals, and working with the Operations team on financial objectives. Aspen Dental provides business and administrative support so the dentist can focus on patient care. The position is full-time, with flexible scheduling, and offers a stated salary of $200,000–$300,000+ per year. Practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support from Aspen Dental Management, Inc.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Lead a patient-centric team that respects clinical judgment and leadership.
• Ensure excellent quality of care for all patients while adhering to dental practice ethics and professionalism.
• Conduct comprehensive full-mouth exams and diagnose dental conditions.
• Offer treatment-planning options and discuss them with patients.
• Provide high-quality clinical treatments with excellence and efficiency.
• Maintain awareness of the budget and work with the Operations team to attain financial objectives.
• Mentor and coach new dentists and the broader team of dental professionals.
• Keep abreast of developments in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
• Network with professional groups, dental associations, and dental societies to represent Aspen Dental-branded practices in the greater community.
