About The Position

Centurion is seeking a Dentist to provide dental services at the Reception Medical Center in Lake Butler, Florida, serving patients incarcerated in Florida Department of Corrections facilities. The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental care to address patients’ oral health needs, including routine recall examinations, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.

Centurion provides healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings through contracts with state and local governments. Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited university.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• A Florida license is not required; a temporary license is available.
• DEA registration is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients.
• Perform routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
