About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time physician to join its team at Reception and Medical Center, a hospital setting in Lake Butler, Florida. The facility is located 35 miles north of Gainesville and 21 miles south of Lake City and has 80–90 beds on its inpatient unit.

The Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, treats chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases. The role works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or Statewide Medical Director, in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA), to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.

The position follows a rotating schedule: Week 1—Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Week 2—Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Florida MD or DO license, or ability to obtain one.
• Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority, or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to pass credentialing and a background check.
