About The Position
West Virginia University Medicine (UHA) Eastern Division seeks a Hospitalist Physician to practice Internal Medicine in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The position includes providing patient care and active participation in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week and will remain open until filled. WVU offers a highly competitive and comprehensive recruitment package. The Eastern Panhandle location is a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland. The area combines a rural atmosphere and lower cost of living with access to those metropolitan areas.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent.
- State medical license and DEA registration required by the start date.
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of Internal Medicine in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
