About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator with a positive and bubbly personality to join a growing, family-focused dental practice. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, for approximately 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate takes a proactive approach to keeping the schedule full, has strong organizational and multitasking skills, helps build team culture, and upholds a patient-first philosophy. Requirements

At least 2 years of dental treatment coordinator experience; the qualifications specify 2–5 years of treatment coordination experience in a dental office.
Advanced knowledge of dental terminology, ADA codes, and procedures.
Familiarity with HMO and PPO insurance.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong reliability.
Ability to create a great patient experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proactive approach to keeping the schedule full.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for patients, explaining proposed treatment and answering questions about HMO and PPO coverage.
Obtain benefit breakdowns and ensure patients understand their coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
Fill schedule openings as they arise.
Audit and scan patient charts.
Help patients update their medical history and contact information.
Prepare digital charts for the next day’s appointments.
Use practice software and tools to keep the office running efficiently.
