About The Position

At Aspen Dental, the Dental Office Manager—called an Operations Manager internally—leads office operations in support of the doctors, helping create positive patient experiences and build trust and loyalty. The position includes a ten-week training program focused on business and leadership knowledge, designed to support success and growth within the organization.

The role is full-time, with a stated base salary of $53,000–$57,000 per year plus incentives. Incentives include a report card bonus of up to $300 per month and monthly and quarterly profit-sharing opportunities with unlimited earning potential. Aspen Dental practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists and receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients of varied ages and backgrounds.
• Analytical thinking and an emphasis on leveraging data.
• A people-centric leadership approach that motivates and inspires others.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience managing a team of direct reports.
• College degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, superior patient service in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
• Hire, develop, manage, and retain office staff.
• Consult with patients about treatment options provided by the clinical team, verify insurance payments, and support collections while ensuring high-quality care.
• Review monthly business results and manage profit and loss.
• Align the sales plan with business goals and create strategies to increase profitability.
• Prepare and lead daily team huddles to set expectations and optimize patient experience and business performance.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
