About The Position

Hoffman Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join its established private practice in Macomb, Michigan. The practice combines modern dentistry and technology with a warm, personal approach to patient care. The hygienist will help educate patients about oral health and its connection to overall health, provide preventive and periodontal services, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment. Compensation is $45–$50 per hour based on experience, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to discuss patients’ oral health and the mouth-body connection.
• Review and update dental X-rays and chart notes, and maintain dental equipment and the X-ray machine.
• Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims.
• Ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
• Perform scaling and root planing and/or prophylaxis.
• Place fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Serve as a point of escalation for patient and team relations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.
