About The Position

Harmony Dental is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join its established Bloomington practice. The role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a community-focused private-practice environment, working with a collaborative team and an experienced, respected practice owner. The practice emphasizes patient relationships, teamwork, preventive care, and community connection, and offers modern facilities, technology, and equipment.

The position pays $55–$65 per hour based on experience and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a full benefits package. Professional development opportunities include laser training and continuing education courses. The schedule is full-time: Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; and two Fridays per month, 6:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The weekday schedules include a one-hour lunch break.

Requirements

• Current Minnesota Dental Hygienist license.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to discuss patients’ oral health hygiene in relation to the mouth-body connection.
• Review and update dental X-rays and chart notes, and maintain dental equipment and the X-ray machine.
• Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims.
• Ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
• Complete scaling and root planing and/or prophylaxis.
• Place fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Serve as a point of escalation for patient and team relations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.
