About The Position

My Family Dental Southfield is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join its established, patient-focused practice. The technology-forward practice uses a Trios intraoral scanner, Pearl AI, Eaglesoft, and CBCT to support patient care. The schedule includes one-hour recall appointments and 1.5-hour scaling and root planing appointments. Work hours are Monday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Compensation is $53–$57 per hour, with a monthly bonus opportunity and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The practice describes its environment as stable, supportive, and team-oriented, with a large patient base.

The Dental Hygienist will perform hygiene exams, cleanings, and periodontal care; take and interpret dental X-rays; chart and monitor periodontal health; educate patients; use the practice’s technology; and partner with the clinical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered dentistry. New graduates are welcome, and applicants awaiting licensure may apply.

Requirements

• Michigan Dental Hygiene License, or currently awaiting licensing; new graduates are welcome.
• Strong communication skills and a warm interpersonal style.
• Experience or training in full-spectrum dental hygiene, including periodontal charting, X-rays, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, patient education, and fluoride.
