About The Position

At Aspen Dental, dental hygienists are empowered clinicians and trusted oral health providers. The hygienist serves as a valued clinical partner to the doctor, with autonomy to assess oral health, recommend care based on clinical indicators, and educate patients without being rushed. New graduates and experienced hygienists work in a modern clinical environment supported by advanced technology, structured onboarding, and hands-on training. The position offers full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities. Schedules are described as manageable, typically serving 5–7 patients per day. Hygienists receive structured two-week onboarding and training, digital tools and workflows, mentorship and clinical support from the Hygiene Support Team, and access to advanced technology. Ongoing learning and career growth are available through TAG University, including in-person and virtual programs and continuing education.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Active dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for patient education.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the doctor to develop and deliver personalized patient care plans.
• Use digital technology to support clinical assessments, case acceptance, and patient communication.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Manage schedules and supplies with the autonomy needed to provide comprehensive care.
• Assess oral health, recommend care based on clinical indicators, and educate patients.
