About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading Ambulatory Surgery Center in Austin, Texas, specializing in dental restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special-needs patients under general anesthesia. The center is seeking a part-time Dental Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia care as part of a dedicated surgical team in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The typical OR day involves caring for approximately seven pediatric patients. The schedule is one to two days per week, with no call, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Licensed Dentist Anesthesiologist.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Appropriate state licensure for the practice location.
• Current BLS certification.
• AHA or equivalent PALS certification within six months of hire.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Nice To Haves

• National Board certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience practicing across a range of anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Care for approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day.
• Work closely with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other care team members.
• Support a positive, patient-focused culture.
