Pediatric Dentist - ASC | Part-Time | No Call, Weekends or Holidays
About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) network in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, specializing in dental restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The Pediatric Dentist will join an experienced surgical team and provide compassionate, high-quality care in a close-knit ASC setting, collaborating with dentists, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, registered dental assistants, and other surgical professionals. This part-time position is scheduled for 1–2 days per week, with no call, weekends, or holidays. A typical operating-room day involves treating approximately seven pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Licensed Pediatric Dentist with appropriate state dental licensure.
- Experience treating pediatric patients.
- Current BLS certification.
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to pediatric dentistry.
Nice To Haves
- National Board Certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to practice across Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental care for pediatric and special needs patients in an ASC setting.
- Perform dental restorative and exodontia procedures under general anesthesia.
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day.
- Coordinate with anesthesia and surgical professionals to support efficient, safe procedures.
