General Dentist - ASC | Part-Time | No Call, Weekends or Holidays
About The Position
The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization to recruit a part-time General Dentist for its affiliated professional care team in Flint, Michigan. The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients performed under general anesthesia in a structured surgical setting focused on safe, high-quality care. The dentist will provide general dental care in an ASC, collaborate with the surgical team and other clinical professionals, and typically treat approximately seven pediatric patients during an OR day. The schedule is one to two days per week, with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Licensed Dentist with appropriate state licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- Current BLS certification.
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification within six months of hire.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice To Haves
- National Board certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide general dental care in an ASC setting.
- Partner with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day.
- Collaborate with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other team members.
