About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization to recruit a Part-Time General Dentist for its affiliated professional care team in Flint, Michigan. The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia in a structured surgical setting focused on safe, high-quality care. The schedule is 1–2 days per week, with no call, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Licensed dentist with appropriate state licensure.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• AHA or equivalent PALS certification within six months of hire.
• National Board certification is strongly preferred.
• Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dental care in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
• Partner with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical operating room day.
• Collaborate with dentists, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, registered dental assistants, and other team members.
