About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with a pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) network specializing in dental restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The role is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and is part-time, typically one to two days per week, with no call, weekends, or holidays. The dentist will join an experienced, close-knit surgical team that includes Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical professionals.

Requirements

• Licensed Pediatric Dentist with appropriate state dental licensure.
• Experience treating pediatric patients.
• Current BLS certification.
• PALS certification from the AHA or equivalent within six months of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to pediatric dentistry.

Nice To Haves

• National Board Certification is strongly preferred.
• Ability to practice across Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental care for pediatric and special needs patients in an ASC setting.
• Perform dental restorative and exodontia procedures under general anesthesia.
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical operating-room day.
• Coordinate with anesthesia and surgical professionals to support efficient, safe procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience.
