About The Position

The Staff Pad is partnering with an ambulatory surgery center in Grand Prairie, Texas, specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care. The center is seeking experienced, patient-centered anesthesiologists to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric and special needs patients.

This is a part-time role with no call, weekend, or holiday work. The anesthesiologist will collaborate with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center and manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per operating room day.

Requirements

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
• Active, appropriate state anesthesiologist licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current AHA PALS certification, or obtain PALS within six months of hire.
• Comfort practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Patient-centered approach focused on safety, comfort, and quality care.

Nice To Haves

• National Board Certification is strongly preferred.
