Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental clinic environment. Experience or willingness to learn in clinics that offer holistic dentistry.
- Knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Cleardent and MaxAssist is an asset
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Be the warm, welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
- Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and efficiently book appointments
- Maintain and organize the patient database with accuracy and confidentiality
- Oversee insurance claims, billing systems, and follow up with insurance companies
- Establish and manage office protocols to keep operations running smoothly
- Coordinate and optimize appointment schedules
- Provide leadership and foster a team culture focused on outstanding client service
