About The Position

The Delivery Expert checks products for accuracy against quality standards and delivers them to customers safely, courteously, and on time while working as part of a team. The role also supports restaurant operations by performing other workstation duties, following Domino’s uniform, appearance, and operating standards, and complying with applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Duties include preparing the vehicle before deliveries, learning the delivery area, checking orders, following delivery procedures, interacting professionally with customers in person and by phone, delivering flyers and door hangers, and safely delivering products to customers’ homes. The position also involves processing telephone orders, handling confidential customer information, processing credit transactions, making bank deposits when necessary, assisting other workstations, preparing food and ingredients, taking orders, cleaning equipment and the facility, stocking supplies, taking inventory, and completing related paperwork. The role requires safe operation of a motor vehicle and the ability to navigate the delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other sites while carrying products. Team members must work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies, and be cross-trained to perform other restaurant duties as needed. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a driver’s license held for two years and valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works.
Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory vehicle.
Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
Must have verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Must be able to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
Must be cross-trained and able to perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.
Must be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying products, reaching, bending, and occasionally navigating stairs or a ladder.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Prepare the vehicle for deliveries, learn the delivery area, verify orders for quality and accuracy, and follow proper delivery procedures.
Deliver pizzas and other products to customers safely, courteously, and promptly; deliver flyers and door hangers.
Provide positive, professional customer service in person and by telephone, including safely interacting with customers at their homes.
Receive and process telephone orders and handle sensitive customer information responsibly.
Execute credit transactions and make bank deposits as necessary.
Work as part of a team by arriving on time, supporting other workstations, completing closing duties, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.
Navigate the designated delivery area, including stairs, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Operate and clean equipment and the facility; perform other workstation duties, including making products, preparing ingredients, and taking orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
Safely operate a motor vehicle and travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
Perform other assigned restaurant duties as needed.
