About The Position
The Delivery Expert delivers products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The role also performs general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position involves customer and coworker communication, use of a computer keyboard or touch screen, and navigating delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, and driving.
- Ability to carry product while walking and climbing during deliveries, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.
Responsibilities

- Prepare products.

- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by telephone and in person.
- Navigate to addresses in the delivery area, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
