About The Position
The Delivery Expert delivers orders by car to customers within a designated delivery area and performs general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. General store duties include operating equipment; stocking ingredients; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery duties include bringing products to customers’ doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. Team members may make several deliveries per shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work under stress, perform repetitive tasks, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving.
- Must be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and bring orders to the customer's door.

- Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Navigate to addresses, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Follow quality-control standards and perform tasks alone or with other team members.
