About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including potential advancement into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers within a designated area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members perform general store duties as needed, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

The job involves working in a store and outdoors in varying weather. Store conditions may include temperatures from 36 degrees in coolers to 90 degrees or higher in some work areas, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical duties include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. Delivery routes may include private homes, multi-story buildings, and five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the listed physical duties, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
