About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management or franchise ownership. Delivery Experts deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store team-member duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigation skills to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination and the ability to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks; depth perception; and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Remove trash and perform other outside tasks.
