About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated area and help with general store-team duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential paths into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery Experts deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may distribute flyers and door hangers. They also perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing phone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves customer and coworker communication, order entry by computer keyboard or touch screen, handling payments and making change, and navigating delivery locations. Work may include exposure to adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, occasional crouching, and navigating stairs. Delivery personnel may make several deliveries per shift and may need to climb five or more flights of stairs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including the ability to navigate adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, and climbing stairs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
