About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a qualified delivery driver to deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance into management or other positions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position also includes general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The job involves working with customers and co-workers, handling orders and payments, and using store equipment and tools. The work involves driving and walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, potentially navigating stairs and adverse terrain while carrying orders. Store and delivery conditions may include variable weather, temperature changes, cramped spaces, food odors, dust, hot surfaces, and moving or sharp equipment. The position has substantial physical demands, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying supplies, and using hands continuously for food preparation and other tasks.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
