About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths to management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products using their personal insured vehicles and also perform general store team member duties, such as preparing products, taking orders, stocking ingredients, and cleaning. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position involves working in a store environment with changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery work may involve adverse weather, driving, walking, and climbing at delivery sites. The role requires frequent standing, reaching, and hand use, along with occasional lifting and carrying of supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Drivers must meet the company’s driving-record, license, insurance, and vehicle-safety requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to a personal vehicle that can be used for delivery and maintain proof of auto liability insurance.
The personal vehicle must pass a safety inspection at hire and periodically afterward.
Drivers who are 18 must have at least two years of driving history; drivers who are 19 or older must have at least one year of driving history immediately preceding the evaluation.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must have a positive attitude and be customer-service oriented.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must have the physical ability to stand, walk, reach, carry, lift, push, and pull as required by store and delivery tasks, including lifting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work under stress, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, and meet quality-control standards.
Must have the vision, hearing, depth perception, and hot/cold differentiation abilities described for the role.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers within the designated delivery area using a personal vehicle.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Clean equipment and the facility.
Unload and move product deliveries, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items and trays.
Meet company requirements for driving records, driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and vehicle safety inspections.
