About The Position
Domino’s is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated area using their own vehicles. Drivers typically average over $20 per hour from wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Mileage reimbursement is adjustable and is intended to help cover fuel and other vehicle-related expenses. Drivers can choose a flexible schedule, with short or long shifts and part-time or full-time hours available. The role uses technology intended to support safe, efficient deliveries. Delivery Experts may also have opportunities to advance to Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, General Manager, and other roles.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
- Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, provide customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
- Must be able to perform the stated physical duties, including driving, walking, carrying, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products to customers within the designated delivery area, making several deliveries per shift as needed.
- Use a personal vehicle to travel between the store and customer locations.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, including navigating stairs and other terrain.
- Read and follow maps, locate addresses, and use good navigational skills.
- Follow directives and meet quality-control standards.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and answering phones.
