About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated delivery area using their own vehicles. Drivers can choose short or long shifts and have flexible scheduling, with part-time and full-time hours available. Drivers typically average over $20 per hour from wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily; hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Mileage reimbursement is adjustable to help cover fuel and other vehicle-related expenses. The role uses delivery technology intended to support safe and efficient deliveries. Promotional opportunities may include Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
- Must have good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses in the delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas and beverages from the store to customers within the designated delivery area.
- Use safe driving practices and make multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
- Navigate routes and locate customer addresses using maps and navigational skills.
- Carry products and walk or climb to customers’ locations, including navigating stairs when required.
- Follow directives and quality-control standards while providing excellent customer service.
- Perform in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation and assembly, stocking ingredients, cleaning, and answering phones.
