About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated area using their own vehicles. Drivers choose their schedules and may work part-time or full-time shifts. They typically average over $20 per hour from wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Mileage reimbursement is adjustable to help cover fuel and other vehicle-related expenses. Drivers use delivery technology intended to support safe and efficient deliveries. Promotional opportunities may include Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager roles. The position is with a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee, which is responsible for employment decisions and practices.

The role includes driving and delivering orders, navigating to customer locations, and performing in-store tasks as needed. Work may involve exposure to changing or adverse weather, temperature variations, food odors and cornmeal dust, compact work areas, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include walking, carrying, climbing stairs, driving, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use. Drivers must be able to provide excellent customer service and work independently and with others while meeting quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, subject to Motor Vehicle Report review.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
• Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work well under stress, meet strict quality-control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties described, including walking, carrying, climbing, driving, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
• Must have the vision and hearing abilities described for in-store tasks and driving, including far and night vision.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and deliver products within the designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
• Navigate to customer addresses using maps and navigational skills, including across adverse terrain and in multi-story buildings.
• Carry pizzas and beverages and walk or climb between the store, vehicle, and customer locations; delivery may require climbing more than five flights of stairs.
• Follow directives and quality-control standards while providing excellent customer service.
• Perform in-store tasks as needed, including bending, reaching, stocking ingredients, cleaning, answering phones, and handling pizza-making tools and supplies.
• Work independently and cooperatively with others, including under stress.
