About The Position
Domino’s is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated delivery area. Drivers use their own reliable, insured vehicles and receive mileage reimbursement for fuel and other auto-related expenses. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Drivers typically average over $20 per hour from wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Flexible scheduling is available, with part-time and full-time shifts that drivers can choose to fit their needs. Drivers use delivery technology intended to support safe and efficient deliveries. The position may offer promotional opportunities such as Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager. This position is with a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee alone makes employment decisions for the store, including hiring, supervision, compensation, benefits, staffing, and scheduling.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, subject to review of a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
- Must have good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make sound judgments and decisions.
- Must be able to perform the listed physical duties, including walking, carrying, climbing, driving, bending, reaching, and continuous hand tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely within the designated delivery area, making several deliveries per shift as needed.
- Use a personal vehicle to travel between the store and customers’ locations.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, including navigating stairs when required.
- Follow safe driving practices and use navigational skills to locate customer addresses.
- Perform in-store tasks as needed, including pizza assembly, stocking, cleaning, and customer service.
- Follow directives and meet quality-control standards.
