About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role includes delivering orders within a designated area and supporting general store operations, such as preparing products, processing telephone orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers potential advancement opportunities, including management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Customer service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses in the delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and deal with people.
• Ability to perform the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Ability to work in conditions involving varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Operate store equipment and prepare products.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Receive and process telephone orders, and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
• Meet quality-control standards and make judgments and decisions while working independently or with others.
