About The Position

Impact RTO, the largest Rent-A-Center franchise in the country, is hiring for an entry-level Delivery Driver role. No previous experience is needed, and training is provided. The position combines driving and customer service, with most of the day spent delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, picking up items, and occasionally collecting payments. The employee may also assist in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and helping with customer-facing tasks. The employer describes a potential path into management for employees who stay with the company.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and at least one year of driving experience.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and move heavy furniture.
• Friendly and professional customer communication.
• Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
• Load and unload items safely.
• Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
• Treat customers respectfully and communicate clearly.
• Occasionally participate in creating social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support company initiatives.
• Collect payments when needed.
• Keep the truck clean and organized.
• Help in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and assisting with customer-facing tasks.
