About The Position

Impact RTO, the largest Rent-A-Center franchise in the country, is hiring an entry-level Delivery Driver for a driving and customer service role. No prior experience is needed; training is provided, and the company describes a path into management for employees who stay with the company. The job involves spending most of the day on the road delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes and picking up items. Drivers may also collect payments and help in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and assisting with customer-facing tasks. The role pays $13.00–$19.00 per hour, with higher pay for bilingual candidates and monthly bonuses based on store performance. The schedule is five days a week, with Sundays always off.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record and at least one year of driving experience.
Able to lift more than 50 pounds and move heavy furniture.
Friendly and professional customer communication skills.
Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
Load and unload items, following provided safe-handling training.
Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
Treat customers respectfully and communicate clearly.
Occasionally participate in creating social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support company initiatives.
Collect payments when needed.
Keep the truck clean and organized.
Help in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and assisting with customer-facing tasks.
