About The Position

Impact RTO, the largest Rent-A-Center franchise in the country, is hiring an entry-level Delivery Driver - Customer Accounts. No prior experience is needed, and training is provided. The role combines driving, delivery, and customer service, with most of the day spent on the road delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, picking up items, and occasionally collecting payments. Between deliveries, the employee may assist in the store with assembling items and customer-facing tasks. The posting describes a potential path into management for employees who stay with the company.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record and at least one year of driving experience.
Able to lift more than 50 pounds and move heavy furniture.
Friendly and professional communication with customers.
Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Reliability, a strong work ethic, and respectful treatment of others.

Bilingual candidates may receive higher pay.

Responsibilities

Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
Load and unload items safely; training is provided.
Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
Treat customers respectfully and communicate clearly.
Occasionally help create social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support company initiatives.
Collect payments when needed.
Keep the truck clean and organized.
Help in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and assisting with customer-facing tasks.
