About The Position

Impact RTO, the largest Rent-A-Center franchise in the country, is hiring an entry-level Delivery Driver for a driving and customer service role. No prior experience is needed; training is provided. The driver spends most of the day on the road delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, picking up items, and occasionally collecting payments. Between deliveries, the employee helps in the store with assembly and customer-facing tasks. The posting describes a five-day work week with Sundays off and offers a path into management for employees who stay with the company.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record and at least one year of driving experience.
Able to lift more than 50 pounds and move heavy furniture.
Friendly and professional communication with customers.
Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Reliable, hardworking, and respectful toward others.

Responsibilities

Drive a company truck to deliver and pick up furniture and appliances.
Load and unload items safely.
Set up furniture and appliances in customers’ homes.
Treat customers respectfully and communicate clearly.
Occasionally participate in creating social media and marketing content, including photos and videos, as requested to support company initiatives.
Collect payments when needed.
Keep the truck clean and organized.
Help in the store between deliveries, including assembling items and assisting with customer-facing tasks.
