About The Position

A Domino’s Delivery Driver delivers orders within a designated delivery area and also helps with in-store tasks when not making deliveries. The role includes customer service, order processing, preparing products, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Full training is provided. The position may offer opportunities to advance from delivery work into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Ability to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching and hand use.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries and navigate stairs or other terrain as needed.
• Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck and stock items on shelves.
