About The Position
Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting customer orders safely and promptly. They assemble, load, transport, and deliver orders along assigned routes while following road-safety rules. Drivers should be polite, dependable, thorough in fulfilling orders, and committed to customer satisfaction. The role also includes store-support duties such as cleaning and stocking, washing dishes when needed, helping in the kitchen as backup, and occasionally taking phone, counter, or window orders. Drivers must use clean, reliable transportation approved for deliveries, with valid insurance. Relevant training is provided on the job for employer-specific systems and procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but is not required.
Requirements
- Own reliable transportation that is clean and free of debris, with valid insurance.
- Pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check.
- Hold a Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate.
- Have at least two years of driving experience and history if age 18, or at least one year if age 19 or older.
- Be able to read, understand, and follow a map.
- Be able to understand and work with numbers.
- Follow directions and achieve goals.
- Demonstrate strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Follow a schedule, be punctual, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly with smart hustle.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of clientele.

Responsibilities
- Arrive on time in complete uniform, with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
- Keep a lit car-top sign on during deliveries.
- Assemble orders accurately, including extras such as dipping cups and sodas.
- Enter orders into the Pulse routing program within one minute of leaving the store.
- Move promptly and safely between the store, vehicle, and customers’ doors.
- Transport hot items in a heat bag and cold items in a plastic T bag.
- Load assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for Domino’s deliveries.
- Drive safely, obey traffic laws, and follow assigned routes; do not make additional stops without permission.
- Collect customer payments, provide correct change, and obtain signatures for credit- and debit-card transactions.
- Track cash and receipts and ensure they balance at the end of the shift; use the drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20 and do not keep money in the vehicle.
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
- Keep the driver area, box hutch, and other box-stock areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- At closing, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
- Keep heat bags clean and free of rips and tears.
- Sweep regularly and mop when needed; mopping is required every night.
- Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
- Help cook and work in the kitchen when necessary, as backup.
- Occasionally assist with phone, counter, or window orders.
- Perform general store cleaning.
