About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver orders within the designated area and assist with in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning. Drivers use their own insured, registered vehicle that meets safety standards. The role includes on-the-job orientation and training, and may offer opportunities for career growth into customer service, management, or franchise ownership. Pay is $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
Driving record must meet the stated standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
No distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
Must have access to a vehicle that is registered, insured, meets safety standards, and is covered by an insurance policy on which the driver is listed.
Must have customer service, communication, and navigation skills, including the ability to read maps and locate addresses.
Must be able to understand and give written instructions and communicate verbally by phone and in person.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to work under stress, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, and meet quality standards.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders occasionally, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Assist with food preparation, cleaning, stocking ingredients, and other in-store tasks.
Operate store equipment; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Unload and move deliveries and supplies, including using a hand truck, and stock items in storage and work areas.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Keep the delivery vehicle in safe operating condition and make it available for periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
Work weekends and holidays as required.
