About The Position

Domino's is hiring qualified delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. Drivers deliver orders and may periodically assist with in-store tasks such as preparing food, cleaning, stocking ingredients, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing paperwork. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The company describes opportunities for team members to grow into management and other roles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have been licensed in the United States for at least the last two years and be able to prove licensed driving history.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle usable for deliveries, be an insured driver on the vehicle's policy, and have the vehicle registered.
• Customer-service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain such as multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, and frequent reaching and hand use.
• Ability to work around varying weather and temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigation skills.
• Assist periodically with food preparation and other in-store tasks.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload product deliveries using a hand truck and move or stock supplies as needed.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and by phone.
