About The Position

Delivery Driver for Knox Pizza, LLC, doing business as Domino’s, serving the 1208 S Elliot location. Drivers deliver orders within the designated delivery area and may also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, handling telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement into management and other roles.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery; qualifications specify a working and reliable car or truck and valid vehicle insurance.
Must meet the stated safe-driving-history criteria: over 18 with two years of safe driving history, or over 19 with one year of safe driving history.
Must have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must be eligible to work in the USA and currently reside near the store location.
Must pass a clean background check.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, and ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and infrequent climbing or stair navigation. Deliveries may weigh up to 50 pounds; cases may be stacked on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Must be able to work around varying or adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
Ability to smile and have fun.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
