Delivery Driver (Sprinter/Cargo Van) - Atlanta
About The Position
Delivery Drivers service approximately 120 local residential accounts per shift, which include a mix of doorstep household and walk-in office locations. On occasion, they deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers. The role involves collecting 4-gallon bins containing food waste and leaving a clean, empty bin behind. Drivers are responsible for ensuring the customer's location is left clean and free of debris. At the end of the route, drivers return to the CompostNow warehouse to unload their van. Additional duties include performing pre- and post-trip safety and vehicle checks, weighing bins, recording bin weights, taking service notes, and maintaining a clean vehicle. This role operates in a dynamic environment with testing and launching of new services, requiring adaptability and a willingness to learn to improve and expand the company's impact.
Requirements
- Comfortable maneuvering large vehicles.
- Clean driving records.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Operate vehicles in accordance with CompostNow safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety.
- Desire a physically active working environment.

Responsibilities
