About The Position

Pace is seeking independent contractor delivery drivers who own a cargo or Sprinter van in the Chattanooga, Tennessee market. Drivers join Pace’s Preferred Carrier Network to deliver automotive parts and merchandise for a large automotive retailer on business-to-business routes in Chattanooga and surrounding areas. On-call/standby and dedicated scheduling options are available. Routes may be assigned up to six days per week, Monday through Saturday, and begin at 8:00 p.m. each operating day, continuing until the route is completed. The opportunity is also described as suitable for Master Contractors and freight agents with small fleets.

Requirements

• Own a working cargo van or Sprinter van.
• Meet the required auto liability insurance limits of 50k/100k/50k.
• Meet motor vehicle record (MVR), background-check, and drug-screening requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Pick up packages and deliver them to designated stops.
• Use the delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Meet or exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace professionally and courteously.
• Maintain a presentable appearance and provide excellent customer service.
