About The Position

The Deli Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for customers and helps create a warm, welcoming, and efficient shopping experience. The role includes answering product questions, making recommendations, and assisting with service bar orders across departments such as Bakery, BBQ, Coffee, Deli, Demo, Fish, Ice Cream, Meat, and Produce. This is an entry-level position with training provided and no prior experience required. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations.
Ensure customers receive accurate weighing, pricing, and packaging at service bars.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Assist other team members and departments as needed.
Verify products have the correct item and production-date labels for customer safety.
Support smooth, efficient workflow across service areas.
Communicate effectively with team members and department leaders.
