About The Position

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for customers, creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient shopping experience. The role assists customers with product questions, recommendations, and service bar orders across departments such as Bakery, BBQ, Coffee, Deli, Demo, Fish, Ice Cream, Meat, and Produce. This is an entry-level position; no prior experience is required, and training is provided. The work takes place in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment and involves frequent standing, walking, and reaching. The position requires availability to work weekends and holidays and the ability to safely use tools and equipment required for the role.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations.
Ensure accurate weighing, pricing, and packaging at service bars.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Assist other team members and departments as needed.
Verify products are properly labeled with the correct item and production date for customer safety.
Help create a smooth, efficient workflow across service areas.
Communicate effectively with team members and department leaders.
