About The Position

Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Willingness to learn deli equipment and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handler Permit required, or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work at various store locations as needed.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, season, cook, and package deli food products according to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen and deli equipment, including slicers, fryers, presses, and hot and cold service stations.
- Rotate stock using FIFO procedures and monitor product freshness and hold times.
- Decorate and display finished deli products.
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, production, and special orders.
- Provide excellent customer service and fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Support promotions, upselling, and limited-time offers to increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli, kitchen, coolers, and storage areas.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and card transactions.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
