About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. They help customers select healthy food and trusted products for wellbeing and the household, supporting Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives. The Deli Clerk delivers exceptional customer service and prepares food across the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich, and hot bar areas. The role also maintains an attractive sales floor in accordance with Earth Fare merchandising guidelines, verifies department signage and pricing, and keeps the department clean, sanitary, and organized.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food preparation or cooking experience in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment.
- Experience working in retail and/or a customer service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Prepare food in the deli, juice bar, pizza and sandwich, and hot bar areas.
- Maintain an attractive sales floor using Earth Fare merchandising guidelines.
- Verify proper signage and pricing of department items.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of department fixtures, storage, workstations, freezers, and coolers.
